Severn Estuary View

Our clients’ house has a steeply sloping garden with expansive views over the Bristol Channel but very little level ground. As a result the house did not fit comfortably into the landscape.

100 tons of local topsoil have been imported to provide a curved apron of level space which takes you out into the view but which is also perfect for games and family theatricals! Meanwhile, the curves of the terrace draw the view in.

The house, garden and view now feel fully integrated.
